Analytics are optional

SteveDOES asks for permission before loading Google Analytics. If you decline, the analytics tag is not loaded. Your choice is saved in your browser and can be changed at any time using the Analytics preferences link in the footer.

What is measured

If you allow analytics, the site measures page views, general traffic sources, device and browser information, engagement such as scrolling and embedded-video activity, and clicks to YouTube or retailer websites. Affiliate-click events include the product page and retailer selected; they do not reveal whether you completed a purchase.

How the information is used

Analytics are used to understand which reviews are helpful, improve navigation, and measure which product links visitors use. Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals are disabled in the site configuration.
